ALEX HONNOLD: THE SOLOIST VR

For this Jon Griffith film about Alex Honnold climbing in the Alps, we created animation to document travel routes and notable moments. We used a loose, artistic watercolor style to suggest a traveler’s journal, and support the breathtaking cinematography. We broke up the frame edges, to allow them to be more easily placed into 3D space.
